Objectives:

1. To acquire basic and advanced knowledge on imaging anatomy of the temporal bone, with a particular emphasis in the inner and middle ear.
2. To know the main pathological entities of the temporal bone, namely inflammatory/infectious, congenital, vascular, traumatic and tumoral.
3. To acquire basic and advanced knowledge on the several imaging techniques available to characterize the aforementioned anatomical regions, with special emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
