Objectives:

1. Acquire basic and advanced knowledge on imaging anatomy of the nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx, and larynx;
2. Know the main pathological entities of the nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx, and larynx, namely inflammatory/infectious, congenital, vascular, traumatic, and tumoral;
3. To acquire basic and advanced knowledge of the several imaging techniques available to characterize the aforementioned anatomical regions, with special emphasis on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
